Learn How to Analyze Spend, Create a Category Playbook, and Launch Workshops to Improve Supplier Value
Strategic sourcing is a proactive, long-term approach to sourcing that aims at managing suppliers to create strong supplier relationships and provide value to your business. It is a value-add, complementary approach to short-term, transactional-based buying. Essential to managing suppliers strategically is a supply chain manager’s ability to develop a value-add plan to manage purchased material spend, communicate this plan to internal stakeholders for acceptance, and manage a supply base to improve performance. This sourcing approach aims to create sustainable growth for businesses.
This workshop is designed to equip supply chain professionals with the introductory essential skills and knowledge to elevate their strategic supply management practices. Participants will gain insights into spend analytics, practice analyzing spend data, learn how to create effective supply category playbooks, and explore techniques to increase supplier value.
