With four exits on the I-80/90 Toll Road, transportation access is a major contributor to the success of Elkhart County as a visitor destination.  In 2005, over six million passenger vehicles traveled the "Main Street of the Midwest" through Elkhart County, with a total of nearly three million passenger vehicles exiting at the four Elkhart County interchanges.
